Applicants must be:University graduates (in any subject).Under the age of 65. In good mental and physical health. Flexible, adaptable and interested in the ideals of cultural exchange. Native or near-native speakers of English In possession of a recent police check/disclosure document. Before you travel to China you will receive:Placement in a school, college or university (you choose!) for one or two semesters (5 or 10 months) and the possibility of extending if you wish.Lonely Planet guide to China. Documentation you will need to obtain the required visa After you arrive in China you will receive: One week residential orientation and training course in Shanghai to give you language and cultural instruction as well as basic teacher training.
