IST Plus offers you two very different experiences in this exotic and fascinating country.
Our programmes do not require any knowledge of Thai language but you must be a native or near-native speaker of English to participate. A CRB police check or disclosure document is also required.

We work with a local partner organisation, Overseas Education Group (OEG), who provide you with in-country support and are available 24/7 for emergencies.

If you are a graduate (in any subject!), in good physical and mental health and under the age of sixty-five you could teach in a Thai primary or secondary school. IST Plus will guarantee you a placement and provide you with the necessary training and orientation before you start teaching. You will earn a good, local salary and be provided with comfortable accommodation free of charge. At the end of your teaching contract you will be awarded a TEFL certificate!

If you would like to help children in need, Moo Baan Dek, or ‘Children’s Village’ welcomes volunteers to teach English and help with general duties in return for food, accommodation and an unforgettable experience. Moo Baan Dek is in Kanchanaburi province, in western Thailand. You must be at least 18 and in good health.
