Photocopy of the identity page of your passport
Copy of your CV
Two references on headed paper
Deposit cheque of £175 (made out to ‘IST Plus’)

The following documents are required for successful placement and visa application and can be sent LATER if necessary:
Photocopy of your degree certificate
Copy of your transcripts from University
Photocopy of a CRB police check disclosure certificate

WHAT’S NEXT

Within 48 hours of receiving your application IST Plus will contact you to arrange an informal telephone interview to discuss the programme requirements and expectations.
If you are accepted onto the programme you are GUARANTEED a placement in a Thai school. If it is felt that the programme is not for you your deposit will be refunded.
Placement takes 4-6 weeks after acceptance onto the programme. You will be sent information about your school with details of terms, conditions and accommodation. You will be asked to formally accept your placement so that the Thai school can prepare for your arrival. In very rare and limited cases you can ask us to find an alternative placement for you.

Your placement is guaranteed, so you can start making your personal plans immediately. Information on medical, travel and other issues will be sent to you soon after you have been accepted onto the programme. You must be sure to make your own travel and insurance arrangements in good time.

Closer to the orientation start date you will receive a series of information newsletters with added helpful advice on, for example, what clothing and personal items to take with you.

The documents you need for your visa generally arrive about 3-4 weeks before the start of the orientation. You can take these to the Thai Embassy in London or a regional Thai consulate yourself or, for a fee, IST Plus can take your passport to a Consular Office for you.
