DEADLINES FOR APPLICATIONS
You are allowed up to 4 months of work between the months of May and October so there isn’t a specific deadline for applications. The application process takes about 2-3 weeks. However, you must remember that you have to attend an interview at the US Embassy in London (or the Consulate in Belfast) and the queue for interviews gets very long indeed during the late spring and early summer. In winter, if you telephone to book an interview you will be granted one within a week or 10 days at most. In the spring and summer you will find that the wait for an interview can be as long as 7 weeks!
